It is Well

in OVERCOMING LIFE'S CHALLENGES

“Can you worship a God who isn’t obligated to explain His actions to you?   Could it be your arrogance that makes you think God owes you an explanation?” — Francis Chan.   Something for me to ponder today.  I reread the quote and personalized it. “Can ‘I’ worship a God who isn’t obligated to explain His actions to ‘me’?   Could it be ‘my’ arrogance that makes ‘me’ think God owes ‘me’ an explanation?”   In Isaiah 55:8-9 the Lord says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”   God doesn’t owe me an explanation and requires me to trust him (Proverbs 3:5-6) even when I don’t understand the challenges that happen in life.  Can I worship God during trying times?  My answer is, YES I CAN because God has never left of forsaken me, and know that he will never leave or forsake you.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, give us the strength to say, “It is well with my soul” and trust to you no matter what is happening in our lives. Knowing that you are in control of all situations. Thank you, Father, for your love and for caring for us so deeply.  Your love is so deep, wide and beyond human comprehension.  We praise you and thank you for salvation, forgiveness, grace, mercy, love and compassion. Even in times of despair and disappointment, give us the strength to worship you and keep praising your name.  May we never forget or take for granted the good things you do for us (Psalm 103:2-5).    It is in Jesus’ name we pray… Amen!

Psalm 34: 17-19

“The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.   The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.   A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all…”

that if you lose your life for my sake, you shall find it, I meant lose it from your sense of self-salvation by being under the law.” Truely our weak & beggarly apmettts to keep the law as a means to be blessed and right with God blinds us from the reality of true humility in receiving everything dieing to self-salvation brings. As you stated, when we are ‘totally helpless’ we will empty any and all self-righteous apmettts to save our life by trying to keep the law. Grace is heavens ‘open arms’ inviting all who are tired of self-salvation by the law and are ready to find their lives by losing it out from under the law through Christ, by Christ and in Christ! I love you!

Wow Sarah nice tips for training the butt! I’m a guy but I felt that I have real saggy buotkcts as they bulk when I wear tighter jeans. One thing I wanted to ask is regarding the posture of squatting/RDL. I always experience an overextend or mild overtraining like symptom on the erector spinae area, whenever I’m doing squats and lunges even with good form and light weight. Do you have any tips on how to avoid this? p.s. I cannot really do much situps and crunches due to my lower spine bone kind of sticks out, which might cause pain when pressure is applied onto that area with the floor.
